Welcome to Brighter Futures – a transformative programme dedicated to protecting vulnerable young people from the harms of Serious Organised Crime.
Brighter Futures protects vulnerable individuals and makes sure they are less likely to become involved in Serious Organised Crime. Brighter Futures is also ensuring that innovative approaches to crime prevention are institutionalised throughout the Nigerian Police Force, government, and non-state institutions.

Brighter Futures identifies young people who are at risk of involvement with crime. We then engage with these individuals to establish pillars of support that have been proven to enhance their resilience against criminal influences.

METHOLODGY
The methodology behind Brighter Futures has been developed using insights gathered over the last 15 years from similar crime prevention projects that have taken place in the UK. We have used these insights, together with input from our local communities, to create a truly Nigerian solution that is effective, locally led and highly relevant.
